Poppy is a full-time trainer and behavior consultant with Instinct Portland. She offers in-home private consultations, home school programs, and puppy camps. She has over ten years of experience in the field, and has collaborated extensively with a veterinary behaviorist in working with complex behavior issues. She is skilled at helping clients navigate reactivity, aggression, fear, and anxiety, and also enjoys training basic life manners. She has expertise in puppy development and cooperative care, and loves to design fun and rewarding programs that enrich the lives of dogs and their families. She has an 11 year old chihuahua named Turtle – a mellow companion whose on-leash reactivity is now happily a thing of the past.
