Emma is a full-time trainer at Instinct Englewood working with dogs in both our Board & Train and High School Mini-Camp Programs. Emma is experienced at guiding clients through cases related to fear, anxiety, aggression, and reactivity as well as life skills, manners, and puppy development. Prior to working at Instinct, Emma worked for the Peace4Paws animal rescue group, where she assisted with the training of dogs in their foster program in an effort to place them in permanent homes. She is comfortable working with a range of breeds, sizes, and personalities. Emma is committed to assisting dog owners in understanding their pets and she is confident in her ability to read canine body language. Emma is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Animal Biology from the University of South Florida, where she graduated Cum Laude. She currently lives in New Jersey with her two Labrador Retrievers, Rusty (12 years old), and Tucker (3 years old).
